Birds of a Feather

BIRDS OF A FEATHER is Gateway sculpture for the city of Lake Oswego, OR. The lake was once called, “Waluga,” an Indian word meaning Wild Swan. We used the swan and its feathers to symbolize unity and oneness of the community. It is about acceptance, loyalty, shared aspiration and shared responsibility.
