The original root as found.
Root Runner
As I hiked a dusty trail I spotted a surprisingly familiar shape lying buried in the dirt. I walked past then returned to retrieve the aged root.
A month later, a mold allowed me to offer what is unmistakably a "RootRunner," cast in bronze, patinated and flying above its travertine and bronze base.
